Well, the resumption of Homeschool Happenings is right around the corner and we look forward to seeing everyone and working together soon. Our fall line up, as you may have already seen in the BP Chronicles, our new flier, or off our Children's Home page, looks like this:
Homeschool Social Studies 10:45
Homeschool Science 11:45
Homeschool Lunch and Recess 12:30
Homeschool Spanish I and II 1:30
Homeschool Language Arts 2:15
Please visit this site often as teachers may post pertinent information regarding class and materials. Our general guidelines require that children attending any of the homeschool classes be able to write (or print) and be able to read at a first grade level. We also expect that students have a basic understanding of appropriate "classroom" behavior. We recognize that sitting for three hours straight is nearly impossible for any child to do and it is our hope that the recess time after lunch will eliminate any fidgetedy, disruptive, and/or unsuitable behavior. Please remind your children of their manners and the importance of raising their hands. Also, please have your children use the restroom prior to entering the program room. They will get a bathroom break again during lunch and recess. We ask that students come to class prepared, but will always have extra paper and pencils for those who may forget. Our lunch time policy will remain the same. Parents and siblings may join their children in the program room for lunch at 12:30 or may eat outside in the courtyard. No food or drink is to be eaten in the Children's Department or any other area of the library. Thank you for your cooperation.
